Free Fall Product Comparison

The QuickFlight Series combines the thrill of bungee jumping with the safety and reliability of Head Rush Technology’s patented magnetic braking system. This is the same advanced braking technology that we use across our full family of adventure devices. Our braking system is trusted to protect over a billion descents every year.

When it comes to free fall devices, we have three models to help you customize your free fall experience: the QuickFlight, the QuickFlight XL, and the Flightline. Both the QuickFlight and the XL can accommodate a user weight between 44 lbs and 285 lbs, while the extra forces put on the Flightline narrows that range to users between 75 and 250 lbs.

QuickFlight Free Fall Device

Free fall distances chartThe QuickFlight base model is our most accessible option for a free fall device. With a minimum mounting height of 19.7 feet and a maximum of 50 feet, it’s easily adaptable to a wide range of platforms, structures, and facilities.

After stepping off the platforms, users will experience a free fall of between 6.6 and 9.8 feet before the magnetic braking system catches them softly and lowers them at a comfortable pace to the ground.

QuickFlight XL

While still working on the same principles as the baseline QuickFlight model, with QuickFlight XL users can jump from as high as 75 feet and experience a maximum free fall distance of 13 feet.

Both the QuickFlight and the QuickFlight XL give facilities a choice between a 1 meter and 2 meter custom-made ripcord with a redundant safety cord attachment. When deciding on the right ripcord for your facility, we’d invite you to consult the mounting height chart on the QuickFlight Selection Guide sheet or speak to a Head Rush Inside Account Manager for more sizing information.

FlightLine

Last but definitely not least, let’s talk about FlightLine. If you’re looking for a Wow factor, FlightLine is it! For starters, FlightLine has a maximum mounting height of 80 feet. And if that’s not enough to get your heart beating, when you step off the platform, you will free fall for up to 36 feet!

With FlightLine, you also have multiple mounting options. You can choose to hang the device above the platform in the standard mounting position. Or, if you want to take things to the extreme, hang the FlightLine beneath the platform in the jump-over configuration.
